Jazz Album of the Year???

I'm gonna tell you this is the standard by which all other 2005 albums need to be judged, it's that good. The Way Up was released in late January, too early for consideration in the Grammy balloting in which the great Ray Charles Genius Loves Company gets album of the year. You can mark me down to be at Nokia in Grand Prairie in March to see Metheny's whole production unfold live.
