Stars Schedule, NFL Draft, Rangers Rant - Go Sports!

Thought I'd start out with some positivity here. The Stars start their series against the San Jose Sharks this Friday. Beginning the series in San Jose is one thing but Games 1 & 5 on the Versus Network? Are you kidding me? I'm going to have to be social and go somewhere besides the casa to watch this? Terrible.

The NFL Draft begins this Saturday. Check out the Ticket's Bob Sturm as he offers his draft analysis. HERE. Even if the NFL commish grants the Cowboys PacMan Jones I still say we draft a cornerback and a backup/3rd down running back.

Onto Rangers talk. Troubled is a mild way to describe the situation in Arlington. This team is pathetic and Ron Washington's days are limited as head coach. I've heard crazy scenarios such as G.W. Bush buying the Rangers from Tom Hicks, firing GM Jon Daniels, promoting Nolan Ryan to GM and Ryan hiring Bobby Valentine to be head coach. Stranger things have happened but if that scenario saw the light of day I wouldn't complain. I just can't stand the current organization of this team. Texas, specially DFW, is a prime sports market and the Rangers continue to be a disgrace. [/rant]
